- U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support (BSAS), a Joint Venture between Boeing Helicopters and Sikorsky Aircraft, 7281 Nightstalker Way, P.O. Box 550, Ft. Campbell, KY 42223, on an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, for Life Cycle Contractor Support to sustain peculiar and close loop systems installed on the MH-60 and MH-47, or any other aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for services for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 2 February 2005.
