Description
POTENTIAL OFFERORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS THAT MAY BE ISSUED. This acquisition is being advertized under full and open competition. The Pharmaceutical Resources Branch of the Developmental Therapeutics Program, Division of Cancer Treatment, Diagnosis, and Centers, National Cancer Institute (NCI) is seeking a contractor experienced in analysis and evaluation of clinical pharmaceuticals to provide adequate testing and evaluation of shelf life samples of investigational clinical drug formulations, including both injectable products and oral dosage forms and report the results of such testing. Data in these reports will provide NCI and its investigators with information regarding the proper storage and handling of various drug products under investigation, for determining appropriate expiration dates for the products, and to support NCI's Investigational New Drug Applications (INDs) files with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The Contractor will be responsible for evaluating each of the analytical methods in conformance with FDA requirements prior to use. It is anticipated that one Performance Based (completion type) contract will be awarded for a five (5) year period plus two one-year options. Requests for proposal N02-CM-67034-73 will be available on or about February 5, 2007 and receipt of proposals will be due on or about 2:00 PM EST on March 5, 2007. The RFP will only be available electronically and must be accessed through the National Cancer Institutes Office of Acquisition external website at URL: http://rcb.nci.nih.gov/ or through the FedBizOpps. All information required for submission of a proposal will be contained in the electronic RFP package. POTENTIAL OFFERORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THEIR OWN COPY OF THE SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS THAT MAY BE ISSUED. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the above Website and FedBizOpps for the release of this RFP and amendments, if any. This solicitation is anticipated to result in one (1) award to an offeror capable of performing all aspects of the work described in the SOW. This contract shall be cost-reimbursement, completion type of award for a five year period with two one year options. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award any contracts. The NAICS code is 541710 and the small business standard is 500 employees. Collect calls will not be accepted.
