Description

1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W911QX-07-T-0022. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acqu isition Circular 2005-12. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within Ten (30) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is a sole source to Cellular Materials International, Charlottesville, VA 22903. The Associated NAICS code is 325222, Place of Performance: US. Army Research Laboratory, AMSRD-ARL,Aberdeen Proving Grou nd, Aberdeen MD. 21005-5001 2. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. The Contractor shall provide 5 each 3-D Model of Multilayer Target design modeled using SolidWorks CAD. The contract will include an option for 72 each Multilayer Target Panels with approximate dimensions of 6 x 6 x 1.5 (Up to 12 of which to be Fabrica ted with Piezoceramics, if requested) 3. Delivery is required 30 days after award of contract for the basic contract. Delivery shall be made to US Army Research Laboratory, ATTN: Shipping and Receiving, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Bldg 434 Acceptance shall be performed at US Army Research Labor atory, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, APG, MD 21995. The FOB point is Destination. 4. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: None. 5. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - with its offer. 6. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to the clause: None. 7. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition.
