Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR SPECIAL NEEDS (WHEELCHAIR/STRETCHER) PATIENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, for the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, Tampa Florida. This is a presolicitation notice for services to be procured per the procedures at FAR 12, 13, and 15. Request for Proposals (RFP) Solicitation Number 673-3-07. Solicitation issue date on/about 16 October 2006, proposal due date approximately 30 days thereafter. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 485991, size standard $6.5M. Contractor to provide all personnel, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment and supervision to provide transportation services for VA beneficiaries; wheelchair, stretcher, and other ambulatory patients. Period of performance: 1 April 2007 through 30 September 2007, with two 1-year option periods. Contractor must be licensed by the Hillsborough County (Florida) Public Transportation Commission to provide these services in the county. All necessary solicitation documents may be obtained at the following website after 16 October: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov./, using the solicitation number (673-3-07).
