Description
Note 26 applies. RFP is for the purchase of 84,000 yards of Webbing, Textile, Nylon, 15,000 lb Breaking Strength, 4.9 oz. Per linear yard, 1-3/4 inch width, Type XXVI, Class 1, natural. A 100% mandatory quantity option will be included. NSN 8305-00-177-5069. Offers are to be based on FOB Destination Albany, GA. Production Leadtime is 150 days after date of award for three deliveries. Specification Mil-W-4088K 11/21/88 applies. Request for offers SP0100-06-R-0110 will only be available through DIBBS. An estimated, repeat estimated response date of Dec 1, 2006 is established for the closing of the RFP. RFP will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment?) impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
