Description

The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to respond to technical questions submitted. The due date for quotations, Friday, January 12, 2007, remains unchanged by reason of this amendment. QUESTIONS 1. Are there any specific times and days that deliveries are accepted at NIST? 2. Are there any security measures that may affect this delivery? RESPONSES Deliveries are normally done during the week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0600 and 1700. The general procedure is for the delivery driver drive up to the gate and provide the NIST Police Officer the delivery paperwork. The Officer will let the driver on site. Sometimes the Police will perform an inspection of the truck looking for bombs or other prohibited items. Should a delivery be required outside of these hours, special arrangements would be made. This would be handled on a case-by-case basis. In the event NIST would go into a heightened state of emergency condition, documentation on the delivery driver's name, and country of citizenship would be required. This too, would be handled on a case-by-case basis.
