- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Net-Centric Services Branch, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8322), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a combined/synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is for the purchase of hardware, software, and support for the Meridian Voicemail Replacement Project at ISC Columbus. DECC Command Columbus, OH requires existing Meridian Voice Mail System which is linked to the existing GFE Nortel MSL-100 Digital Switch replaced. The scope of this project includes contractor responsibilities to perform duties such as: engineer, provision hardware/software, project management, travel expenses, equipment installation, testing, commissioning into service, and follow-on warranty support to replace the existing system with a Server/Client Unified Messaging Voice Mail System that interacts with an existing GFE MSL-100 Digital Telephone Switch that is DoD STIG compliant at cutover ( passes DoD penetration scans ) and to provide information to the current Telephone Switch Contract Maintenance provider to enable follow-on contract support for the new voice mail system. The new system will be co-located in the Telephone Central Office with the Telephone Switch Equipment.
