Description

QUESTION 1----Performance Specification dated 12 December 2006 cites requirements from Joint Service Sensitive Equipment Decontamination (JSSED) and Joint Platform Interior Decontamination (JPID) Capability Development Documents (CDD). We would like to request a copy of the CDDs from JSSED and JPID......ANSWER 1-----As stated in the synopsis notice and amendment, the only documents provided with the draft RFP are the SOW and Performance Specifications which are provided as preliminary information for clarification purposes only. When the final solicitation is released, all applicable information and attachments and/or exhibits will be provided........QUESTION 2------The draft Statement of Work dated 4 December 2006 is cited as document/appendix C . Are there documents A, B, or D applicable to this RFP, and if so, we would like to request a copy of them?......ANSWER 2------The C you are referring to is the Section of the final solicitation that will incorporate the SOW in accordance with FAR 15.204 -1 uniform contract format.......QUESTION 3------I am very interested in responding to RFP W911SR-07-R-0002 when it is released. To prepare for it I request copies of the applicable documents listed in section 2.2 of the Performance Specification. We alre ady have MIL-STD-810F listed in 2.2.1 so will not need it.......ANSWER 3-------All websites for applicable documents are included in the draft Statement of Work on pages 2 thru 6, Paragraphs C.2.1 thru C.2.6.5. For example MIL-STD documents are available a t http://assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch.....QUESTION 4------On Page 5 of the draft statement of work, PART I is labeled System Development and Demonstration (SDD) and the SOW that follows corresponds to an SDD. However, SDD implies a Milestone B accomplis hment and an MDA approval of a contractors system (or waiver thereof) to enter SDD. Therefore, is it the Governments intention to limit this solicitation to Contractors who already have a MDA approval to enter SDD, and if so what system(s) has already rec eived such approval?......ANSWER 4-------The Government has no intention of limiting this solicitation to contractors who already have a MDA approval. The MDA has granted a JMDS MS B approval due to the maturity of the technology and previous work done by S&T and the JSSED and JPID programs. This solicitation is opened to all contractors who can present a solution that meets the performance specifications with the proper data backing up their claims.
