- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for the following services; Item 1: Cleaning and servicing of an indoor firing range, a Caswell ?Lay Back Gran-Trap? bullet trap, model number LE7500. All work to be accomplished in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, Base period of performance is from date of award to 01/31/2008. Item 2: Option for gum rubber installation/replacement under the base period. Item 3: Option period 001 for bi-annual cleaning, repair, and maintenance service agreement for the facility?s in-door shooting range described as a Caswell ?Lay Back Gran-Trap? bullet trap, model number LE7500. The procurement will be for one base period with four option years to include options for gum rubber installation and trap repair service. All work will be made in accordance with Office of Safety and Health Association (OSHA). The specifications for all work shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The Small Business size Standard is $32.5 Million Dollars and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561210. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number, for this requirement is RFQ-07-0125. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price order with a base year and four option periods. This Procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The award shall be made based on the following listed factors that are in descending order of importance: (1) Technical Approach (2) Past performance and experience licenses or certifications with Caswell Firing ranges, and (3) the overall pricing. The Government reserves the right to make award to other than low bid, and in the best interest of the Government. A copy of the statement of work is attached. All Small Business contractors are required to submit a written proposal that will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made using the attached SF1449, or on Company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit prices and the proposed extended prices. In order for the Government to perform an effective evaluation, the Contractor shall also provide a list of three or more references to include name, phone number, and address to whom the offered services has been performed. Additional items which must be provided include the complete company name, address, annual price, the point of contact, phone and fax number, Federal tax identification number, Dun and Bradstreet number, and the business size status (i.e., Small Business, Disadvantaged Business, Woman Owned Business, Veteran Owned Business, etc.). Quotations are due no later than 12 Noon, EST, January 31, 2007. Only written or faxed responses will be honored.
