- Requirements are issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for two items to be awarded as a 5 Year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Firm-Fixed Price contract. The two items to be procured are part of the Chemical Biological Pro tective Shelter (CBPS) System. The CBPS System is a highly mobile, contamination free, environmentally controlled work area for forward deployed Medical Treatment teams/squads. CLIN 0001: T.A.L.P. Rail Assembly, NSN: 5940-01-502-7541, P/N: 5-4-7073-1. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 61 each with a maximum quantity over the life of the contract of 150 each. The guaranteed quantity for this item is 29 each. Rail weldment formed from sheet aluminum, alloy 54052-H32, .09 inch thick, rail plate c ut from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, .25 inch thick, (2) MS1959-81 screws, (2) flat washers, (2) MS51971-1- plain nuts and (2) MS 35338-139 helical lock-spring washers. The part is 95 inches long x 3.81 inches wide x 6.75 inches high with cam ouflage green finish applied per specification. First Article Testing is required. CLIN 0002: T.A.L.P. Rail Assembly, NSN: 5940-01-502-7543, P/N: 5-4-7073-2. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 122 each with a maximum over the life of the contract of 250 each. The guaranteed quantity for this item is 47 each. Rail weldment formed from sheet aluminum, alloy 54052-H32, .09 inch thick, rail plate cut from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, .25 inch thick, (2) MS1959-81 screws, (2) flat washers , (2) MS51971-1- plain nuts and (2) MS 35338-139 helical lock-spring washers. The part is 95 inches long x 3.81 inches wide x 6.75 inches high with desert tan finish applied per specification. First Article Testing is required. FOB for all quantities is Destination. Estimated solicitation issue date is 31 January 2007. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet.
