- This is not a request for proposals. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Reimbursement will not be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests. U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco located at the International Airport in San Francisco, CA is searching for sources that can provide literature, plans, etc. in response to this announcement within 14 days of this announcement. The Government is searching for sources that can design and install a hot water washing station for use in cleaning helicopters at existing servicing locations. The washing station would provide storage for necessary cleaning and servicing equipment. In addition, the washing station will maintain strict adherence with aviation safety requirements such as illumination, personal safety (e.g. eye-wash), spacing to allow aircraft movement, and fire prevention due to existing fuel lines and fueling operations. All companies that can meet the specification are encouraged to provide a capability statement, company literature, brochures, or any other information that demonstrates that the specifications can be met.
