- ** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. ** ** This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is F2FT137004A100 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-10. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 531110, with a business size standard of $6.5 million. 500 employees. Federal Supply Class (FSC) code is X169. ** ** The Government intends to award a basic year with two (2) option year purchase order for this requirement. This acquisition is to lease a 2 bedroom/2bath dwelling to include the following requirements and necessities: completely furnished with washer and dryer, all utilities (water, electric, phone with unlimited long distance, cable/DSL), maid service (once every two weeks, Saturdays), and 2-vehicle parking. The dwelling shall be within 1/4mile of University of Alabama Birmingham emergency room. The furnishing shall include but not limited to the following: Living Room: Sofa, Living room chair, Coffee table, End table, Table Lamp, 25? TV w/stand. Dining room: Dining table w/4 chairs. Each Bedroom: Queen bed, Dresser & Mirror, Nightstand, Lamp, Coat hangers (10), Bedding set (2), Pillows (2), Bedspread, Mattress Pad, Blanket, Clock Radio. Kitchen: Place setting for 4, Flatware set of 4, Beverage Glasses (4), Ice Tea Glasses (4), Coffee Maker, Two Slice Toaster, Manual Can opener, Slotted spoons, 5 piece knife set, Spatula, Juice Pitcher, Cookware set (7 piece), Flatware Tray, Placemats and Napkins (2), Dish Towel, Trash Can, Cutting Board, Salt & Pepper shaker, Microwave. Each Bathroom: Bath towel set (2), Bath mat (1), Shower curtain, Small waste can. Utility: Laundry Basket, Broom & dustpan, Sponge, Bowl Brush The maid service shall provide all materials and equipment necessary to perform the following service once every two (2) weeks, Saturdays, but not limited to vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean deodorize bathrooms, wash linens to include kitchen/bath towels, make beds, hang fresh towels, clean kitchen to include oven if necessary, start dishwasher and/or put any dishes away, dust throughout to include ceiling fans and window sills, change bulbs as needed, take out trash if needed (should be done when guys depart), clean trash cans as required, and change air filter once a month. The government is required to inspect the security vulnerability and condition of the proposed facility in order to be eligible for consideration. The Government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2-Evaluation--Commercial Items (Jan 1999), which is incorporated into this Request for Quote, with addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the item(s) offered to meet the Government requirement as stated in this synopsis; (ii) price. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the greatest value to the Government. Technical capability is slightly more important than price.
