- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, propos als are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition C ircular (FAC) 2005-14 (22 Nov 06) & Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, and current to DCN 20061219. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. This requ irement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3519 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333618 with size standard of 1000 employees. All prospective bidders must be activel y registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may register on line at http://www.ccr.gov./. The anticipated contract will be firm fixed price. Quotes are being solicited for the following items: Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, 1 (On e) each, Engine, for a 2001 International Water Tanker Truck, VIN Number 1HTGGAXT92H511715, Mdl: 2574 6x4, 11.9 liter, 6 Cylinders, 395 Horse Power, Standard Transmission, Diesel , to include wire harness. All offerors shall identify any applicable core c harge as well as freight in their quote. Delivery shall be 60 days or less from date of award. Fob and acceptance point is the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, AZ. All quotes shall be clearly marked with solicitation number W9124R-07-T-1023 and e-mailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma,army.mil or faxed to 928-328-6849 no later than Close of Business Mountain Standard Time (MST) 5:00 P.M. 30 January 2007. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by 52.212-1 and 52.212-3, c ited below, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. Award will be made to the low priced responsible offeror whose proposed product is determined to be technically acceptable.
