- THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Sole Source Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-07-G-0006 to McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, St Louis, MO, for a retrofit coupling upgrade. This procurement will replace 47 existing clam shell couplings including the installation of 43 new clam shell couplings (Hydraflow P/N 14J23 & 14C23 Series) with safety straps and the installation of 4 new threaded couplings (Hydraflow P/N 18J02 Series) for the AV-8B Harrier. This change will also include the redesign of the wing to fuselage fuel interconnect to replace V-Band or Clamshell couplings with new threaded couplings. Numbered Note 22 applies.
