Description
AWARD RESULTING FROM THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE IAW SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION FAR PART 13. Government intends to issue this requirement on a sole source basis to SAIC based on unique expertise in the implementation of Naval Automated Gates and AT doctrine, strategy and policy. Services to provide broad-scope Program Management and Engineering support to the National Automated Gates Project. Tasking will include the engineering and documention efforts needed for full compliance in accordance with SPAWAR Shore Installation Process Handbook, Version 2.0. Tasking will include, but is not limited to, the following: Support for the development of the functional requirements and technical specifications for the standard Automated Gate. Initial efforts focusing on the development of the design, testing, certification and operational documentation required for approval to install the standard Automated Gate. This documentation will include all necessary steps to achieve Fleet Readiness Certification Board (FRCB) approval. General engineering, administrative and Program Management support for various ATFP related projects. This support can include, but is not limited to, the following: Providing systems engineering support to the Project Engineer in support of various ATFP and Physical Security programs. Assisting the Project Engineer with preparation and review of scheduling, technical inputs and presentations. Providing coordination of technical efforts to include engineering and force operational concept development input to SSC Charleston in support of system engineering processes and integration. Attending meetings in support of the program as required. Preparing briefings, conducting research, and preparing technical reports as required. Providing other management support as required.
