Site Visit Minutes: Date/Time: 23 Jan 2007, 1:00-1:45 Site Visit Location: Bldg 2, Peterson AFB Questions/Issues/Conerns discussed: - What is the space between the ceiling and 2nd floor deck? 5ft 7 in. It is 9?11? from the floor to the ceiling - The large room is separated into 4 smaller rooms by closing sliding wall panels. These rooms are used to hold classified meetings, therefore, sound masking is needed in all areas surrounding these rooms. The area can be configured in numerous individual meeting rooms. We must be able to mask each meeting area from surrounding areas. - Prefer a separate console to control white noise. - Tie into the Crestron system? Configure either way, tie-in or stand-alone. - Prefer volume controls in each room (4 rooms). - Cabling can run free, does not have to be conduit. If using conduit, it needs to match the facility. - Hallway, atrium, kiosk and restrooms need to have sound at all times. - Contractor must include in quote a drawing of exact place where power must be installed. -- Equipment cannot be installed until it is determined if electrical outlets currently exist where needed or after base civil engineering installs needed electrical outlets where needed. - Include expiration date of quote in the quote submitted. - The Kiosk (Room 1112A) is the preferred location for an equipment rack.
