Description: This notice is publicized in accordance with FAR Part 6.302(c) and FAR 5.102(a)(6). The General Services Administration intends to issue a solicitation for a construction project at the Pitkin Street Tunnel in New Haven, Connecticut. Part of the construction solicitation will require that the contractor provide and install new security equipment to interface with existing security equipment. The existing equipment is ADT and the contractor will be required to provide equipment and installation from ADT. The government has determined to set-aside the construction project as an 8(a) set-aside. The security equipment is one part of the construction project. This action is not a request for competitive proposals.
