- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, intends to exchange two each used, Government-owned Rolls Royce 250-C3HU engines, part number 23009300 and assorted engine related parts, for one new Rolls Royce 250-C30R3/M engine, part number 23065550. The reason for the exchange is that the 250-C3HU engine and its accessories are no longer used by the Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) for the MH-6 aircraft. They have been replaced during the aircraft modification to the 250-C30R3/M. The exchange items are listed under a separate file available for download associated with this notice. Delivery of the new engine is required within 12 months of award, and shipped to SOFSA, Attn: James Wells, 5749 Briar Hill Road, Door #12, Lexington, KY 40516. FOB point is Origin. Inspection/acceptance of the exchanged engine is Origin by Government QAR. The intended source is Rolls Royce Corporation, 2001 South Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis IN 46241. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). The property to be exchanged is located at the TAPO Warehouse, 5749 Briar Hill Road, Door #12, Lexington, KY 40516. The property may be inspected during the period 25 January - 2 February 2007, weekdays only, from 9:00 AM through 2:00 PM. The associated NAICS code is 336412 and the small business standard is 1000 employees. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO-A1.
