Description
INTERIM AVIATION LIABILITY INSURANCE, DE-SS52-07NA28005. This announcement will serve as notice that the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST), Aviation Operations Branch (AOB) is seeking responsible sources (small business is encouraged to participate) for a potential commercial acquisition which is a follow-on to an existing contract. NNSA is currently requesting Statements of Capabilities from qualified sources and no proposals are being solicited at this time. The objective of this acquisition is to provide immediate, interim, reimbursable emergency payments in the form of liability coverage to potentially injured parties as a result of OST aircraft operation. This coverage should include coverage to Third Parties including Passengers and Crew Baggage (including declared values), Personal Effects Liability, and Cargo Liability (including declared values). The aircraft to be covered are: 2 DC-9-15???s 1 DC-9-33 1 Lear 35A 1 Gulfstream III 2 DHC-6???s 2 King Air B200???s 1 King Air B200C 2 Bell 412???s Usual areas of operation are continental USA but occasional travel abroad is possible. The minimum liabilities to be provided are: Combined Single Limit Bodily Injury, Property Damage, and Passenger Legal Liability USD $100,000,000.00 any one aircraft/occurrence. Extended Coverage Endorsement (Aviation Liabilities) provides a minimum sub-limit of USD $50,000,000.00 any one occurrence and in the annual aggregate, except in respect of passengers to whom the full policy limit shall apply excess of a deductible of USD $100,000,000 each and every occurrence (including fees and expenses). Interested concerns must be able to demonstrate their experience in providing the minimum liability limits required. Interested parties are requested to submit their Statement of Capability to Marialyn Achille-Argaez, Contracting Officer by e-mail no later than midnight February 15, 2007. Information submitted in the Statements of Capability should be pertinent and specific to the task area under consideration. Interested parties should include an outline of previous work performed or currently being performed. The Statements of Capability will be limited to 7 pages.
