Description
This synopsis is for the purpose of obtaining market research only. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED OR ACCEPTED UNDER THIS SYNOPSIS OR UNDER THIS SOLICITATION NUMBER. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing informatio n in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District, will use information obtained under this synopsis to develop an acquisition strategy. The intent of this synopsis is to access indu stry's 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) capable and interested in providing preventive maintenance service for an Indefinite Delivery/Ind efinite Quantity (ID/IQ) to be composed of one 12-month basic period and four 12-month option periods anticipated to begin 1 April 2007. The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, technical super vision, inspections, tests, test reports and other items and services necessary to perform all operations in connection with preventive maintenance, testing, and inspection of the equipment located at Fort Hood Texas to include five electrical substation f acilities. All work shall be performed under the direct supervision of a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code related to this effort is 238210 (under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program); the corresponding Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 1731. Business Size Standard is $13.0M. CAPABILITY NARRATIVE.
