- Description
- The Request for Proposal (RFP) for EPLS will have a requirement for submission of a Production Sample. The purpose of the Production Sample is to demonstrate system functionality and interoperability, and provide the look and feel of the proposed design. The offeror will be asked to provide one Production Sample representing the principle components of its EPLS design. At a minimum the Sample will consist of the OBC, display, I/O devices, and data bus for the LAV and AAV, additional wired or wireless sensors, sample graphics of the OBSC and OBSA user interface, reports, alarms, and indicators. Additionally, the offeror will be asked to provide a separate binder with the inventory, set up and operation instructions, and the performance specifications of the Production Sample. If the Production Sample complies with testing required in the performance specification, the offeror will be asked to provide documentation to support verification of the testing. The Production Sample must provide at least a representative capability of the proposed system. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PAY FOR THE PRODUCTION SAMPLE. The production sample will be returned upon request at Offeror?s expense if the request contains shipping and billing information.
