- The United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) intends to issue an order under other than full and open competition to the Corporate Executive Board?s CIO Executive Board, 200 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20006, for a one-year membership, with four option years. GAO has subscribed to the CIO Executive Board services since 2001, and it has comprised one of a number of information services and memberships targeted CIOs and IT managers that are subscribed to by GAO, and which are pertinent to the federal IT community. GAO has found membership to be of continuing value and thus seeks to renew its subscription for FY2007-2008 and put in place options for additional years. The period of performance for the Base Year is April 10, 2007 ? April 9, 2008. The CIO Executive Board service provides a variety of specialized research, project support, presentation and analysis tools, on-call research support, and monthly and periodic communications and briefings (the nature of these services are more completely set out at www.cio.executiveboard.com). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
