- REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Washington Flight Program Office (AJW-360), has an annual requirement for aircraft cleaning and servicing services as well as maintenance, repair, and minor construction services for buildings, structures, related systems and equipment located at Hanger 6, Ronald Reagan National Airport, Washington, D.C. DOT anticipates award of an Firm-fixed price requirements type contract with firm-fixed labor-hour rates for the "Over & Above" line items; consisting of a base year and four (4) renewable 1-year options. SMALL BUSINESS DESIGNATION: NOTE: THIS REQUIREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE REQUIREMENT BASED UPON CONTRACTOR'S SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION THROUGH THE U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (SBA). CERTIFICATE SHALL BE PRESENTED WITH ALL OFFERS. North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 561720. Size Standard in number of employees or millions of dollars = $15.0. RESPONSES: All interested sources should first attempt to download the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the SIR should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (405-954-3030) or via my E-Mail address. SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE: This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
