Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government's intent to award a sole source to Ortho Clincal Diagnostics Inc., 100 Indigo Creek Drive, Rochester, NY 14626-5101 for the purchas e of Reagents, calibrators, controls, and other consumables needed for ECi and Vitros 250 analyzers. Failure to purchase these items would prevent us from effectively performing our scientific research. This not a formal Solicitation. This synopsis is n ot considered a Request for Quotation or Proposal. No Solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. NO contract will be awarded on the basis of offeres received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the service and supples will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
