Description: This is a modification of the previously posted Sources Sought notice dated February 2, 2007, and clarifies the salient features of the clay. The material shall meet the following requirements: Shall be CL (or GC or SC) as determined by the Unified Soil Classification System; 25 percent or more by dry weight shall pass the No. 200 sieve; Liquid Limit (LL) shall be less than or equal to 50; Plasticity Index (PI) shall be between 16 and 30; and the hydraulic conductivity (permeability) shall be less than or equal to 10E-7 cm/sec (at 95% Standard Proctor compaction).
