- PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Supply materials, labor, and equipment to install a waterline to the Fall River Work Center from the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital water system. Work entails installation of approx. 740 LF of 6 in. water main with shut-off valve and fire hydrant; approx. 280 LF of 2 in. waterline with curbstop; and service connections for the bunkhouse and warehouse. An optional quote item will be established for installation of a 2 in. fire engine fill line at the warehouse.The Project Estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-07-0045, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Quote (RFQ), resulting in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237110. The solicitation will be available for downloading on or about February 21, 2007 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Quote Visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov. This solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone Small Business Concern. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project.
