Description

The Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, New York, 13210, intends to award a sole source contract to Laborie Medical Technolgies Corporation, located at 185 Allen Brook Lane, Williston, VT 05495-9209 to purchase a Urodynamcis Voiding Dysfunction System. This will be firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified items, they must respond to this notice before 2:30 pm (Eastern Standard Time) on Monday, February 23th, 2007. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Laborie Corporation will be pursued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offers. No solicitation package is available. 1. Compatible software with current Triton system. 2. System would be Video UDS upgradeable should that become the urologic medical standard. 3. Sample rates of EMG can go as high as 5000 Hz which insures that all sphincter motor activity can be captured. 4. VBN modelized software provides a 2D animation play back of recorded test data. 5. User/Operator Manual. 6. Maintenance Repair Manual. 7. Using Service requests on site in-service training from vendor. Offers are due by February 23, 2007, at 1430 hrs, 2:30 p.m. EDT, at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210, to the attention of the assigned Contracting Officer, Mr. Duane F. Schumacher.
