- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00604-07-T-0147. This combined synopsis/solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-14 and DFARS Change Notice 20070122. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 334210, the FSC code is 5805, and the Small Business Size Standard is 1,000 employees respectively. This is a sole source action for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Compunetix Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: ITEM 0001: KPI-10 KEYSET WITH COPPER AND FIBER INTERFACES; PART NO. 00-6611-0800; QTY: 2 EACH ITEM 0002: KPI-24 KEYSET WITH COPPER AND FIBER INTERFACES; PART NO. 00-6611-0200-14; QTY: 6 EACH ITEM 0003: KPI-24II RED/BLACK KEYSET WITH COPPER AND FIBER INTERFACES; PART NO. 00-7611-0252; QTY: 3 EACH ITEM 0004: KEYSET POWER ADAPTER, 110VAC; INCLUDES POWER CORD; PART NO. 11-0000-4818; QTY: 14 EACH ITEM 0005: METAL CABINET FOR KPI-24 KEYSETS; PART NO. 00-6611-0452-01; QTY: 11 EACH Required delivery date is May 31, 2007. If the required delivery date cannot be met, an alternate delivery schedule may be considered. Please provide your best delivery schedule. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Kauai, Hawaii 96752-0128. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. The Government intends to award a single contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation. Unless otherwise provided in the Schedule, offers may not be submitted for q uantities less than those specified. The Government reserves the right to make an award on any item for a quantity less than the quantity offered, at the unit prices offered, unless the offeror specified otherwise in the offer. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 13 ? Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this announcement. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award.
