Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is in need of a Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business contractor for Underground Storage Tank Remediation at the Veterans VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina. The contractor shall provide all tools, labor, equipment, permits, license and qualified supervision for Underground Storage Tank Remediation associated with Project 558-312, New Research Building, located at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham North Carolina in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work includes, but is not limited to, general site work, Building 9 demolition, site development, building underpinning/shoring, UST removal, soil abatement and utility relocation. All work performed must meet all applicable code and regulations. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a Service Disabled Veterans Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding material will be available on/about December 8, 2006. The official plan holders list can be printed from the web site only. All prospective offerors and plan centers are encouraged to register as plan holders on the web site. Amendments/notices, if any, will be posted to the web. The web will be the only method of distributing the solicitation. It is the offerors responsibility to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST FOR BIDDING MATERIAL WILL BE ACCEPTED.
