- Description
- The Army has a need to test the listed helicopter parts and components. This RFI is intended to collect information from government, industry, and academia for the listed parts and components to assess current test capabilities. Components: UH-60 - Main Transmission Module, Intermediate Gearbox, Hydraulic Pump, Main Rotor Swashplate, Viscous Bearing, Tail Rotor Gearbox, Oil Cooler, Input Module. AH-64 - Main Transmission Module, Hydraulic Pump. CH-47 - Engine Transmission (forward and aft), Combin ing Transmission, Hydraulic Pump, Generator, Aft Swashplate, Forward Swashplate. ARH-70 - Tail Rotor Gearbox, Hydraulic Pump, Oil Cooler Blower, Swashplate, Hanger Bearing, Engine Clutch Assembly. Interested and capable sources are asked to submit a uniq ue response for each airframe using .xls format addressing the suggested outline below for each part/component. Responses should be made within thirty (30) days from publication of this notice. Column A1 Company/Organization Name; Column A2 Company POC, email and phone number; Column A3 Aircraft Type for this spreadsheet (AH-64, UH-60, CH-47, or AR-70); Column A4 Heading Component. Specific Component for this spreadsheet (Main Transmission, Hydraulic Pump, etc.); Column A-6 Heading Capability. Provide a description of your test capability, equipment and operating environment and ranges for this spec ific aircraft and component; Column B-6 Heading Nomenclature. State the test equipment nomenclature and vendor/manufacturer and time in service; Column C-6 Heading Availability. Characterize the test stands availability from 1 April 2007 through 30 September 2013. Identify your scheduling process; Column D-6 Heading Workload. Characterize the test stands current workload and prioritization with regard to a future Army long term test programs; Column E-6 Heading Cost. Identify the fully load cost per test hour to operate your test stand (assum e that the test article will be government furnished equipment); Column F-6 Heading History. Detail your experience with this type component and specific past tests. Identify internal and external experience; Column G-6 Heading POC. Provide a Point of Contact for this components test capability; Column H-6 Heading Experience. Describe your test personnels experience and certification; Column I-6 Heading Other. Provide any other materials, suggestions, and discussion you deem appropriate.
