THIS SOLICITATION IS A SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL FIRMS. The NAICS Code for the proposed acquisition is 561210, Facilities Support Services, and the small business size standard is $32.5 Mill. The Federal Supply Code is Z299 ? Maint, rep/alter/all other. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering, Southeast Division, is seeking to award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract to provide Preventative Maintenance and Inspection of various systems at Marine Corps Reserve Centers located in Huntsville and Montgomery, AL and Memphis, TN with the option to add other locations if needed. The work performed by the contractor can vary from location to location. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the services that will be outlined in the Performance Work Statement. The Request for Proposals and Performance Work Statement will be issued on or about on February 16, 2007. The NAICS Code for the proposed acquisition is 561210, Facilities Support Services, and the small business size standard is $32.5 Mill. The Federal Supply Code is Z299 ? Maint, rep/alter/all other This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number in order to participate in this procurement. For instructions on registering with the CCR, please visit the website for CCR at http://www.ccr.gov. The Government intends to issue the amendments for this Solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP), electronically by posting it on the NAVFAC Website, http://esol.navfac.navy.mil only. Offerors must register on the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The Request for Proposal will be posted on or about February 16, 2007. Proposals will be due by March 19, 2007. Amendments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION.
