Description

SOURCES SOUGHT: The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking potential sources for Becker Investigations at a California Dam site. Potential sources must be capable of performing work that involves the coordination of several groups to complete the following tasks: (a) Becker Penetration Tests (BPT) with Pile Driving Analysis (PDA); (b) Friction pullback testing of selected intervals in BPT holes; (c) Case Pile Wave Analysis Program (CAPWAP) for selected depths in BPT Holes; and (d) Becker soil sampling (BSH). Each responding firm should include their firm's Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS), Tax Identification Number (TIN) and state whether it is registered in CCR's and ORCA databases. Further, any concern believing that it can provide the required service must provide supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. Questions concerning this acquisition must be submitted, in writing, to John Collins via e-mail at JCOLLINS@do.usbr.gov or fax at 303/445-6345. This is a Marketing Research Sources Sought notice only, and not a Request for Quotation/Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation. The Government will not pay for any materials furnished in response to this Marketing Research Sources Sought Notice. All responses received before 5:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time, March 02, 2007, will be considered by the Government. Firms should identify themselves as either small business, or other than small business, in accordance with the size standard for North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS code 213112 which is $$6.5 Million. This notice is for market research purposes only, however, the information gathered from this notice will be used to determine which preference program will be used to process the acquisition [e.g., 8(a) set-aside under the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program, total small business set-aside full and open competition], etc. No preference program determination will be made until the market research is completed.
