Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Boulder City, NV, is seeking sources from HUB-ZONE businesses to furnish and install fiber optic cable in two buildings; i.e. Building 1300 and the Mead Building with the following equipment: Building 1300 Furnish and install cable trays within the new building in coordination with the building construction contractor. Furnish, install, label, test and certify fiber optic cable, connectors and enclosures. Furnish, install, label, test and certify Category 6 UTP cable, connectors and enclosures. Furnish, install, label, test and certify Category 3 UTP cable, connectors and enclosures. Develop and provide As-Built records and drawings, including single-line diagrams of all cabling, grounding, installed patch panels, supporting equipment and other devices supporting the system THE OFFEROR MUST BE FULLY QUALIFIED FOR CERTIFICATION OF INSTALLED MATERIALS UNDER TYCO's AMP NETCONNECT MANUFACTURER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM. THIS CERTIFICATION IS TO BE VERIFIED VIA LETTER OR CERTIFICATE FROM THE MANUFACTURER CLEARLY STATING THAT THE OFFEROR IS A QUALIFIED, CERTIFIED INSTALLER TO AMP NETCONNECT's CERTIFICATION STANDARDS. THE OFFEROR SHALL PROVIDE ON THE CATEGORY 6 UTP CABLE, A TWENTY-FIVE (25) YEAR SYSTEM AND COMPONENT WARRANTIES PROVIDED BY TYCO ELECTRONICS. Mead Building Furnish, install, label, test and certify Category 5e UTP cable, connectors and support systems. Develop and provide As-Built records and drawings, including single-line diagrams of all cabling, grounding, installed patch panels, supporting equipment and other devices comprising the System. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 238210. Vendors are reminded that they must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be considered for award. Vendors can register at www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information. As this is a total, small business set-aside, the prime contractor is required to perform 50% of the work themselves. Potential vendors must also meet the TYCO AMP NETCONNECT certification criteria as described above.
