- Description
- The primary object of this SOW (called as caDSR Focus) will be to provide technical management and software development including maintenance and enhancements to the caDSR components of the caCORE system. The caDSR is a standard based metadata repository and tool set for creating and maintaining content. (http://ncicb.nci.nih.gov/NCICB/infrastructure/cacore_overview/cadsr). A secondary objective is to provide integration with other parts of the caCORE system such as integration of existing components to fulfill needed feature and functions. This may mean redesigning existing functionality to implement more common software architecture and simplify consumption of caDSR content by end users. The caDSR consists of following major components: UML Model Browser(http://umlmodelbrowser.nci.nih.gov/umlmodelbrowser/) CDE Browser (http://cdebrowser.nci.nih.gov/CDEBrowser/) CDE Curation Tool (http://cdecurate.nci.nih.gov/cdecurate/) Sentinel Tool (http://cadsrsentinel.nci.nih.gov/cadsrsentinel/do/logon) Semantic Integration Workbench (http://cadsrsiw.nci.nih.gov/) caDSR Administration Tool (http://cadsradmin.nci.nih.gov) In addition to these components, the caDSR provides programmatic access to the content in the caDSR repository via the caDSR APIs (http://ncicb.nci.nih.gov/NCICB/infrastructure/cacore_overview). The caDSR APIs are developed using caCORE Software Development Kit (http://ncicb.nci.nih.gov/NCICB/infrastructure/cacoresdk). Since the caDSR system is part of an integrated caCORE system, in order to respond to end user needs, the contractor team may be required to support parts of caCORE components including: caBIO, EVS, CSM, CLM and caGrid. In ALL cases, the assignment of specific tasks to the resources in the caCORE system will be made by the NCICB project officer with the agreement of the contractor team. The allocated tasks will appropriately match with the individual?s skill level and experience.
