- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation RFQ-V5294-0051 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15. No telephone requests will be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 339113 and the business size standard is 500. REQUESTERS MUST STATE THEIR BUSINESS SIZE ON EACH REQUEST. The proposed contract listed here as Unrestricted. Line Item 0001 Battery Power Line Set, MFR: Synthes - 1 SE - P/N: 150.119 - or Equal - UNIT PRICE _________________, TOTAL. This set includes the following items or equal: 530.601- Universal Synthes Battery Charger, 4 bays 530.605 - Battery Reamer/Drill 630.610 - Battery Oscillator 530.615 - Battery Reciprocator 530.620 - Battery, 3ea 530.650 - Battery insertion shield, 3ea 530.680 - Battery casing, 3ea 530.730- Jacobs chuck with key 530.731- Jacobs chuck, keyless 530.741- Adaptor for radiolucent drive 530.750- Quick coupling for drill bits 530.760- Large quick coupling 530.780 - AO ASIF reaming attachment 530.782- Hudson reaming attachment 530.783 - Modified trinkle reaming attachment 530.784- Trinkle reaming attachment 530.790- quick coupling for K-wires 690.570- Graphic case, for battery power line This requirement is for brand name or equal products only. FOB destination delivery date of 30 APRIL 2007 to Tracy CA 95304-9150 and Marked for 51st. MDSS/SGSL Unit 2060, Bldg 777 Headquarters Road, APO AP 96278. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following additional provisions and clauses apply: 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Item, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offerors whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technically acceptable; and (2) Price. Technically acceptable will be evaluated based on the function and operation of the item. To be technically acceptable the item shall meet the Government's specification.
