- The United States Army Communications-Electronics and Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to award a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contract on a non-competitive basis to L3 Communication Systems West (L3), in Salt Lake City, Utah under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source for the procurement of Spare Parts for the PP-8530/TSC High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS). The PP-8530/TSC High Voltage Power Supply (HVPS ) is a line replaceable electronic assembly that converts 3-phase, 208 VAC, 47.5-63 Hz power into regulated DC output voltages. The HPVS primarily supplies power to a klystron tube that is in the High Power Amplifier (HPA) (AM-6701A/TSC) while providing H PA control/protection. L3 Communications is the only known source with the specialized test equipment, facilities and Technical Data Package (TDP) needed to supply the required parts. The NAICS code for this procurement is 335931 with the corresponding sm all business size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is W15P7T-07-R-J613 and will be issued on or about 19 March 2007.
