Description

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Financial Management Service intends to award a sole source contract for local telephone service in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The performance period is a base year with two one-year option periods. The award will be to Verizon Federal, 1320 N Courthouse Road, 8th Flr, Arlington, VA 22201-2508. Award will consist of service for approximately 250 local telephone lines, installation, repair, and equipment for authorized FMS employees telecommuting under the Work-At-Home program. Statutory authority for this sole source award is 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is for information purposes only. No solicitation will result from this announcement.
