Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) on behalf of the Army Reserve Retention and Transition Division (AR RTD) intends to procure 395 hotel rooms and conference space under full and open competition procedures. Interested businesses that are certifie d and qualified in NAICS code 721110 are encouraged to submit their cost proposals in fulfilling the following requirement: 395 rooms and conference space from 20 April 2007 through 26 April 2007. This requirement is being solicited under full and open co mpetition procedures. In your proposal, please provide your company name, a point of contact, address, phone number and business size under the above NAICS code, to the POC for this procurement. Under this requirement the hotel must provide 395 rooms and conference space to accommodate the reenlisting soldiers and hosting staff for the Army Reserve National Capitol Reenlistment Ceremony. A Firm Fixed-Price type contract will be awarded. The period of performance will be 20 April 2007 through 26 April 20 07. The place of performance will be in Arlington, VA. All responsible sources may submit a proposal(s), which will be considered. No paper copies of this solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will likewise be posted to this w ebsite. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. The contractor is responsible for all costs of producing and mailing their proposal.
