- Description
- The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposes to install two automated gates and approximately 1400 linear feet of iron picket security fence. The contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, and supervision for the completion of the following: Install two automated gates which provide card reader access via card access and remote control. Each remote control station shall have video and audio access and the capability to open and close the gate. The Finished height of the fence is 6?0?. The work shall be performed at the USDA, ARS, located at Stoneville, MS. ?This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P)? An IFB with complete specification requirements will be issued on or about November 16, 2006 with all bids being due at 2:00 p.m. December 19, 2006. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package. All requests must be submitted in writing, faxed to (662) 686-5373 or by electronic mail to: tvjones@ars.usda.gov.
