Description

The Northern Region Contracting Center, Mission Division, Fort Leavenworth, KS is seeking sources among GSA schedule contractors. The service requested is in support of the Global Property Regime Survey-Jordan. The support, in broad context, relates to providing assistance to the Foreign Military Studies office (FMSO) in conducting field research in primary sources on the application and property condition of real property regimes (systems) and land-use intellige nce in Jordan. The government anticipates the services to be completed within 12 months from date of award. There are four principal tasks involved: (1) engage services of a national-recognized, academic organization with established experience in addressing issues in the geographic sciences, matters pertaining to GIS, interpretation of GIS data, and relationshi p of studies to matters of national security; (2) collection of data elements according to three steams of inquiry as indicated in the performance work statement; (3) purchase or attempt to obtain examples of real property and land-use data to include exam ples of plat maps, cadastral maps (urban and rural) title registries, and zoning maps, land-use plans and maps, extraction licenses, water reserves, as well as relevant statutes, books and articles, application and information request forms, etc; and (4) C onduct in country research after exhausting internet and traditional distant research method. In addition, there are two options that require conducting similar research in Syria and Lebanon (that are to be priced separately and independent of the Jordan r equirement). Some of the contractor personnel must possess a U.S. SECRET clearance.
