- DESC: NSN 1005-01-251-9696, Part Number 12597071. The item to procure is an Actuating Assembly, Trigger for the M240 Machine Gun. Item consists of: Formed Parts, Body, Link, Washer, Spring and Pivot made from Steel, Sheet, 1010-1020 per spec ASTM-A1 09. Phosphate finish is required per MIL-DTL-16232 (Finish Series 5.3.1.2 of MIL-STD-171). Proposed contract is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation will result in a Five Year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Guaranteed minimum requirements are 2,000 each, with a potential contract maximum quantity of 30,000 each. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 27 March 2007. The response date listed is an estimate only. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY07 req uirement. This solicitation will incorporate a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will not be posted with the solicitation once the solicitation is issued to the web. Offerors are hereby notified that in order to receive the Technical Data Package, all of ferors are required to execute a Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement binding each offeror to the terms and conditions of the agreement. Copies of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement will be found as an attachment to the solicitation when the solicit ation is issued to the web. An official authorized to legally bind the company must execute the agreement by completing and signing the agreement. Upon execution of the Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement, it must be returned to Dave Buennig by e-mail t o david.buennig@us.army.mil or by fax to (309) 782-2362. Upon receipt of the signed agreement, the Technical Data Package will be mailed to the offeror. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, ha rdcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above interne t address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
