Procurement is a set-aside. Project FAIR 55(4) Chip Seal: Hot asphalt-rubber chip seal coat, final fog seal, pavement marking and install guardrail on 7.433 miles of Route 55 in Navajo County, Arizona. ISSUE DATE A/O 29 March 2007, THURSDAY. BID OPENING DATE A/O 1 May 2007. ONLY WRITTEN OR FAX REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. FAX NUMBER IS (602) 379-6763. ESTIMATED RANGE OF PROJECT: $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE FOR 51% INDAIN OWNED AND CONTROLLED FIRMS UNDER THE 'BUY INDAIN ACT." 25 U. S. C. 47, Section 7(b) of P.L. 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) requires that prefence in award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native economic enterprises. Indian firms bidding under this Act must self-certify they are eligible under the "Buy Indian Act".
