Description: The Government anticipates advertising a Request for Quotation type solicitation on March 26, 2007 for the excavation of a stream channel to desired elevation and cross-section. Work includes removal of road washout material and road prism. Material will then be used for blocking/closing the road or stockpiling. Award will be made considering price and past performance factors. Quotation due date is anticipated to be April 26, 2007. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for April 11, 2007. Anticipated award date is May 9, 2007. THIS NOTICE IS A SYNOPSIS ONLY. THE FULL SOLICITATION IS ANTICPATED TO BE ATTACHED TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT ON MARCH 26, 2007.
