Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Electronic Proving Ground, Fort Huachuca, Arizona is soliciting proposals for the following requirement (No Substitutes): MFR: Agilent Technologies. 1 each; PN: E8257D; PSG Analog Signal Generator that can operate up to 40 GHz, standard adapter set 1.4mm equipped with the following options: 1 each; PN: E8257/d-1E1; Step Attenuator. 1 each; PN: E8257D-1EA; High output power. 1 each; E8257D-UK6; Commercial calibration certificate a nd test data. 1 each; PN: E8257D-540; 40 GHz capability (frequency range from 250 kHz to 40 GHz). 1 each; PN: E8257D-1EH; Improved harmonics below 2 GHz. 1 each; PN: E8257D-1CP; Rackmount flange and front handle kit. 1 each; PN: E8257D-ABA; Printed co py of the English documentation set. 1 each; PN: R-51B-001-3C; 1 year Return-to-Agilent warranty extended to 3 years. 1 each; PN: R-50C-011-3; Agilent calibration upfront support plan 3 year coverage. 1 each; PN: 85320A; test mixer module. 1 each; PN: 85320A; Option -H50-2-50GHz. 1 each; PN: R-51B-001-C; 1 year Return-to-Agilent warranty. 1 each; PN: 85320B; Reference mixer module. 1 each; PN: 85320B; Option -H50-2-50 GHz. 1 each; PN: R-51V-001-C; 1 year Return-to-Agilent warranty. 1 each; PN: 8305 1A; A low-noise Preamplifier that applies at lease 23 dB of gain across the entire frequency range of 100 MHz to 40 GHz. The Preamplifier must be compatible with the Agilent 87422A power supply. 1 each; PN: R-51B-001-C; 1 year Return-to-Agilent warranty. FOB DESTINATION: Fort Huachuca Arizona. Payment will be made by Government credit card under Net 30 Terms. Offers are due no later than 12 noon, Mountain Standard Time, Thursday, 15 March 2007. EVALUATION CRITERIA/PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the following best value criteria in descending order of importance: Meeting the requirement, Proposed Delivery Schedule, Past Performance, and Price. DELIVERY SCHEDULE: All the equipment must be deliver no later than 28 May 2007. The result of the award will be posted in Fedbizopps(http://www.fbo.gov/) under Award Notice. The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. This is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 334515. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price. All Electronic and Information Technology will be Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 compliant. The following FAR provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial items, applies to the acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to the acquisition (See evaluation criteria above). Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, and furnish Offeror's Tax Identification Number, CAGE Code, Central Contractor Registration Number, DUNS Number, and applicable FSC Codes with its offer. FAR clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required Implementing Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items apply to this acquisition.
