- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-07-T-0025. This acquisition is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in eff ect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-15 dated 13 February 2007. This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 561720. The small business size standard is $15.0 million. The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and units of measure, (including option(s): CLIN 0001: Custodial Janitorial Services (POP: 01-APR-2007 TO 31-MAR-2008); CLIN 0002- First option year begin 01APRIL2008 - 31 MAR 2009 ; CLIN 0003 Second option year begins 01 APR 2009 - 31 M AR 2010; CLIN 0004 Third option year begins 01 APR 2010 - 31 MAR 2011; CLIN 0004 Fourth option year begins 01 APR 2011 - 31 MAR 2012. All responsible sources my submit quotations, which shall be considered by the agency. Contractors shall submit a lum p sum quotation to include all chargers, which should include the current year and four option years. The government intends to evaluate proposals based on the base year and option years combined. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, eit her through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of the method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY - This Request for Quote (RFQ) is being issued to aw ard a contract for the custodial janitorial services as described in the Statement of Work (SOW). Statement of Work - The service required by this contract will be for the custodial services required to sustain the work force and facilities of Ensley Engin eer Yard (EEY). There are a wide variety of requirements and shall include but not be limited to the cleaning of rest rooms, offices, work areas, daily waste removal from trash cans, sweeping, moping, and various other duties as described in the contract for approx 23,000 sq ft of space residing in multiple buildings within the confines of EEY. Contractors are encouraged to do a site visit at 2915 Riverport Road, Memphis, TN 38109, prior to submitting a quote.
