Description

Northern Rockies Coordinating Group (NRCG) Region 1 intends to solicit potable water equipment in support of fire suppression and all-hazard activities Prospective contractors mustl have a Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Failure to register at these websites will make a quotor ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov and ORCA registration at http://orca.bpn.gov No hard copies of the Request for Quotation will be sent out by this office. The Request for Quotation will be available electronically on the Department of Interior Electronic Commerce website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about March 9, 2007 and will close on or about April 9, 2007. The electronic quote system does not allow the contractor to fill in the Extended Description of each Line Item. Contractors submitting an electronic quote must also print a copy of the completed and signed SF1449, Solicitation for Commercial Items, and either fax (406-896-2954) or mail the form to the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 115310-Support Activities for Forestry. Small business size standard is 16.5 million. (See Note 1.)
