Description

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333923, Bridge Crane- 10 Ton Double Girder, Column Supported, Top Running, Class D Heavy Duty, Low Head Room fitted with Shaw-Box Wire Rope Hoist with 20-0 Lift, All Pendent Controlled. Quantity for items: Bridge Crane, 1 each. This will be considered a Turnkey Installation and Delivery. Equipment will be delivered and installed complete by crane manufacturer. Manufacturer will be responsible for unloading of the equipment from truck a t time of arrival. Manufacturer will install runway columns, install runway beams, install crane rail, install the crane with hoist and trolley, connect the bridge electrification, install the runway electrification. The crane manufacturer will be respon sible for cleaning the area of debris associated with this installation. The crane manufacturer will load test equipment with test weight supplied by McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Preproduction drawings shall be submitted within thirty days after awar d of contract and prior to the start of production. The contractor shall provide two complete sets of reproducible drawings showing bills of material, column sizes, base plates, top plates, runway beams, runway rails, end stops, hole patterns, and welds. FOB Destination, McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK. This will be a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD will be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Inte rnet at www.ccr2000.com or contact the CCR at 1-888-227-2423. Approximate issue date for solicitation is 23 Mar 07 with opening date approximately 30 days from issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov . Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these web sites and is the contractors responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
