- 1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for the supply, delivery FOB Destination, and installation of a utility/service body for each of six new 2007, 4x4 pickups. 2. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, Room 5F, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or faxed to (520) 388-8332 by close of business March 29, 2007. 3. Note: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15. 5. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336211 and the size standard is 1000 employees. 6. Submit a detailed equipment list/specification with price quote for supply, delivery, and installation of the following utility/service body packages. All deliveries of supplies and services for inspection and acceptance by the Government must be FOB Destination to Coronado National Forest, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or to a site within a 20-mile radius of that address. 7. A quote may be submitted for one, any, or all of the contract line item numbers (CLINs) below. The Government anticipates multiple awards, but reserves the right to award all the CLINs to one vendor; to award a lesser quantity than the total number of CLINs listed; or to award none of the CLINs if it is in the best interests of the Government. 8. All measurements below are approximate and will need to be verified by the contractor before ordering and installation. CLIN 1, supply and install on Vehicle No. 5922, a 2007 Ford 4x4, regular cab chassis, 17,500 GVW, 84 inches cab to axle, dual rear wheels: utility service bed for 100 in. by 94 in. bed w/min. 48 in. inside bed; aluminum tread plate on top and kick plates; long top compartment on passenger side; short top compartment on driver side; seamless compartment bottoms; spring-loaded, or equivalent, door holders on vertical doors; flush rotary-style locks keyed alike; rear tread plate bumper; interior cabinet lights w/guards; rough service mounting kit; all external lights flush mounted (FMVSS108); 18-inch service platform w/headboard between box and cab; Rhino? line compartments and bed; paint service body w/2 coats to match cab color; mud flaps; Ford wiring harness adapter and 6-pin trailer plug; class V receiver hitch; remove old outriggers and crane from old vehicle; re-install outriggers and crane on new bed. CLIN 2, supply and install on Vehicle No. 5923, a 2007 Ford, 4x4, regular cab chassis; 17500 GVW, 84 inches cab to axle, dual rear wheels: utility service bed for 120 in. by 94 in. bed w/min. 48 inch inside bed; aluminum tread plate on top and kick plates; long top compartment on passenger side; short top compartment on driver side; seamless compartment bottoms; spring-loaded, or equivalent, door holders on vertical doors; flush rotary-style locks keyed alike; rear tread plate bumper; interior cabinet lights w/guards; rough service mounting kit; all external lights flush mounted (FMVSS108); Rhino? lined compartments and bed; paint service body w/2 coats to match cab; mud flaps; Ford wiring harness adapter and 6-pin trailer plug; class V receiver hitch; remove old outriggers and crane from old vehicle; re-install new outriggers and crane on new bed. CLIN 3, supply and install on Vehicle No. 5929, a 2007 Ford, extended cab, 4x4, single rear wheels, 9200 GVW, 60 inches cab to axle: utility service bed for 96 in. by 78 in. bed w/min. 48 inches inside bed; aluminum tread plate on top and kick plates; long top compartment on passenger side; short top compartment on driver side; spring-loaded, or equivalent, door holders on vertical doors; flush rotary-style locks keyed alike; rear tread plate bumper; interior cabinet lights w/guards; rough service mounting kit; all external lights flush mounted (FMVSS108); paint service body w/2 coats to match cab color; mud flaps; Ford wiring harness adapter and 6-pin trailer plug; class V receiver hitch. CLIN 4, supply and install on Vehicle No. 5928, a 2007 Ford F250, single rear wheels, regular cab chassis, 4x2, 10,000 GVW, 60 inches cab to axle: Flat-bed for 100 in. by 78 in. flat-bed platform w/all steel construction; all external lights flush mounted (FMVSS108); 40 in. steel bulkhead headboard; 28 in. high stake bed on sides and back; mud flaps; ICC dock bumper; ; rough service mounting kit; Ford wiring harness adapter and 6-pin trailer plug; class IV receiver hitch; all painted black. CLIN 5 & CLIN 6, supply and install on Vehicles No. 5931, 5932, Ford F550, 4x4, crew cab, 17,500 GVW, 60 inches cab to axle: enclosed service body for a 108 in. by 94 in. steel service utility body; long top compartment on passenger side; short top compartment on driver side; canopy cab height and outside utility bed width, tapered sides, w/double panel doors and weather sealed; rough service mounting kit; flush rotary-style key locks keyed alike; paddle latches; aluminum diamond plate rock guards on front; rear tread plate bumper w/step recess; Ford wiring harness adapter and 6-pin trailer plug; class V receiver hitch; all external lights flush mounted (FMVSS108); interior ceiling light w/switch hooked off marker lights; mud flaps; paint service body w/2 coats to match cab color 9. Desired delivery date for completed installations: June 15, 2007. All applicable taxes, if any, shall be included in the quoted price. 10.
