Description

The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-07-RP-0107 for the following supply item: The contractor shall be required to complete and deliver to Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, 8100 Blank Marble Niche Covers made from Vermont marble. These will be delivered in two (2) shipments - May 15, 2007 and May 30,2007. Unless certification of approval received within the previous 24 months, potential offerors shall submit, at contractor expense, one blank marble headstone sample representative of the stone to be used, the finish to be attained, and testing results, in accordance with the specifications listed in the solicitation. This sample should be received and approved prior to the closing date of the solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for shipping and handling of the niche covers to the cemetery: Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, 3) Price. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small businesses.  The NAICS Code is 327991.  Size standard is 500 employees.  Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about March 22, 2007.  Responses to the solicitation are due on or about April 17, 2007 COB.  Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at FedBizOpps.  Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments.  See Numbered Note 1.
