- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the FAA Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for removal and replacement of an existing steel roof and rain gutters. The contractor will be required to furnish the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, tools and supplies to remove existing Verco steel roof panels, install Standing Seam Metal Roofing panels, and replace deteriorated rain gutters with a galvanized steel gutter system. The existing roof covers the Project Management Team Hanger located at 100 Pohakulana Place, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96819-1896. The 22,000 sq ft hanger is owned by the FAA and used as an aircraft storage and office facility. This request for information will enable the FAA to make a screening decision to determine qualified firms that have the ability to replace the existing roof and gutter system on the hanger. The FAA reserves the right to add incumbent contractors and/or other sources which meet the criteria and have performed satisfactorily on previous procurements. Accordingly, it has been determined that only firms meeting the following minimum requirements will be solicited: Offers are solicited only from small business concerns. (1) To be considered, the contractor must a licenced Gerneral Contractor whose firm classified as a small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 235610. (2) Complete/submit the Business Declaration form attached with your response. An offeror shall be prepared to provide proof of license with their proposal. (For informational purposes only. Do not provide this information at this time.) The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price construction contract. The date and time for receipt of responses is 2:00 p.m. CST, Friday, 30 March, 2007, (facsimile responses are permitted). If all requested information is not furnished, the contractor's response may be determined unacceptable; therefore, not considered as one of the qualified companies.
